First thing’s first, you need to identify your pine tree. If you’re unsure here’s a great blog on identifying pine trees.
Ours is a Scots Pine.
While the kettle’s boiling, remove a large pinch of needles.
Let the boiled water cool for a moment, boiling water ‘burns’ the tea and dimishes its goodness.
When the needles begin to pale, remove them from the water.
Add a squeeze of lemon to taste. You could also add honey or maple syrup.
