Shayne House: Award Winning Multidisciplinary Artist & Communication Designer
I’m based in Newquay, a worldwide surfing destination on the rugged and dramatic, north coast of Cornwall in the British Isles.
I divide my time between my multidisciplinary creative practice and commercial projects. Dedicating a percentage of time to my creative practice informs a more colourful and less ordinary approach to commercial projects, often leading to fresh, unexpected, innovative solutions.
Commercially, I’ve worked on some interesting projects, supporting a good number of amazing brands, at times working with clients across varying cultures and markets in different countries, such as Jacques Cousteau’s Paris-based La Spirotechnique, Balin Australia, Synexus Clinical Research, and IVC Evidensia. Closer to home I’ve worked with brands that include Gul, Snugg, Bilbo Surfboards, The Times, The Telegraph, KEO Films & The BBC.
It’s also been a privilege to support a diverse range of positive impact projects, which includes the Eden Project, The Do Lectures, Unilever’s Dove Self-Esteem Project, RefuAid, and most recently StreetVet.

In my creative practice, I work freely in photography, filmmaking, graphic design, illustration, printmaking, writing and music, to name a few.
My multidisciplinary creative approach has seen my work used as cover art for Bryde’s single ‘Less’. My short surf film ‘Handplane to Rivermouth’ was screened at the inaugural London Surf Film Festival at Riverside Studios in London, and by the National Trust, in their chillout tent at Boardmasters Festival, in Newquay. I’ve performed & recorded with various talented musicians, and I’ve exhibited my work alongside some incredible artists in group art shows.
I release limited-edition prints twice a year; 1st May and 1st November.
