Multiple Exposure
This collaborative project with musician and photographer Tim Langsford was created between 2020 and 2021, capturing two perspectives on life during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We each shot a roll of Ilford HP5 35mm film, then exchanged and reloaded them to shoot again. The resulting double exposures layer our separate experiences of that time: isolation, anxiety, loss and resilience.
The technique itself became a metaphor. As the film was exposed multiple times, so were we, repeatedly confronting the virus through our families and communities.
The work also acknowledges the pandemic's broader context: a crisis rooted in humanity's exploitation of animals and ecosystems. These images reflect the fragility of life and our interconnectedness with the natural world.

I exhibited three photographs from the series at the Cruel & Curious Heart exhibition in 2022
