Big Design Challenge
I presented an idea, with friend and fellow WREN colleague Tony Faragher, to a panel of judges at the Intersections Conference as part of the Big Design Challenge Cornwall.
The idea for the project is essentially based around reducing energy consumption through behaviour change, this is part of a bigger project; WREN - Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network, which is aiming to reduce carbon emissions, generate renewable energy as a whole town and see a proportion of the revenue generated stay within the community.
Our pitch was well received and the judges picked their top 3 ideas. Our idea was one of them, and we were awarded £5K to help us achieve our goal.
Thanks to our mentors Neil Tinson of Guild of Sage & Smith and David Orr Consultancy.
