Light Leaks

This ongoing series embraces imperfection, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi.

Each image is shot on 35mm film with the camera back deliberately cracked open, allowing light to leak in. The resulting streaks and bursts of colour are often seen as flaws, but here they're the point.

The work celebrates spontaneity and the beauty of chance. What looks like a mistake becomes something unexpected and alive, a reminder that imperfection can reveal something more interesting than polish ever could.
