Analogue X Digital

This series layers instant Polaroids onto digital prints of the same subject.

I cut away the Polaroid frame, peel back the black backing, and lift the delicate emulsion in warm water. Then I transfer it onto a sharp digital print, creating something that's neither fully analogue nor fully digital.

The process is slow and unpredictable. The emulsion tears, warps, and adds texture to the precision of the digital image underneath. It's a way of questioning what happens when photography becomes instant and endless, and what we lose when we stop handling images physically.

The result is a hybrid: tactile, fragile, and caught between two ways of seeing.
