As part-time Marcom Officer for Transformation - a Cornwall foodbank charity, I lead the development and implementation of strategic communications to increase awareness, engagement, and support for our cause.
Transformation runs 6 food banks, 2 community hubs, and provides advice, information and guidance to those in need in West Cornwall.
My role is both strategic and hands-on, and involves developing a marcom strategy and creating impactful content across digital and print channels, managing social media, designing infographics and newsletters, and crafting compelling stories via video, photography and photo-films to highlight the community's needs and the positive impact of our services.
By collaborating closely with volunteers, staff, donors, service partners, suppliers and service users, I ensure that our messaging remains authentic, approachable, and aligned with our mission to support vulnerable communities.
