Suzanne Sparrow International Language School
I developed markets across EMEA and the Asia Pacific regions, responsible for an integrated Marcom approach - I was Editor of the school’s monthly magazine, distributed across 21 countries - together with proactively networking & collaborating with international education agents, at times in their native countries.
During my time with the school I built their website, and I became a member of the school’s senior management team, appointed to help shape a business development strategy for the school in the digital age. I developed a new online learning function and aligned the content marketing strategy with the heritage & positive reputation of the school, established for over 40 years.
I am proud to have been instrumental in facilitating an arrangement between the school and the charity RefuAid. RefuAid’s 'Language Gateway' project increases access to English language tuition for people who have claimed asylum in the UK. Ultimately we provided free language tuition and accommodation for refugees.
“Shayne came to work for the language school on a short term basis and we were very happy when this turned into a longer term agreement. He enabled me to see the potential of the digital world and as importantly explain it to me in such a way that I could understand. For those who know me they will realise the difficulty of that achievement. The work he carried out for the school was of the highest standard and I would be very happy to use his services again in the future.”
