Summer Ballads

July 2021
Camera: Ricoh FF9S
Film: 35mm Kodak Ektachrome E100

Multiple exposures, shot in-camera on a Ricoh FF9s with Kodak Ektachrome E100 transparency/slide film, which has then been cross processed in the darkroom.

Cross processing is the procedure of deliberately processing photographic film in a chemical solution intended for a different type of film, in this case, colour slide film developed as if it were a colour negative film.

Shayne enjoys the unexpected & often pleasantly surprising results from shooting multiple exposures in-camera, relying simply on light, his eye and the photographic chemicals.

This collection of multiple exposures celebrates nature and the return of summer.
